Visual artist Joe Simon founded Joe Simon Wedding Films in 1999 in Austin

Texas. His current cine-doc productions infuse HD, 16mm and Super 8mm

together with the couples personalities to create truly customized wedding films.

Drawing experience from a variety of different shooting projects - extreme sports, indie films, music videos and weddings, Joe Simon has created a look all his own and is considered to be one of the freshest voices in the industry today.

Joe's international cinematic shooting and storytelling has earned him 3 Telly Awards as well as a spot on the Event DV top 25 for 2008.

One of the hottest event videographers on the scene, Joe Simon will be teaching advanced shooting techniques, getting the most out of your camera equipment, shooting with DSLR vs. normal video cameras and when its appropriate to use each. Hell also be covering how to shoot to edit, how a small amount ofpre-prep can save you time and money in post.
